Jonathan “Moose” Nunez joins the Cavaliers as an Assistant Coach for the 2024–25 season. He spent last year as an assistant coach and video coordinator at Stephen F. Austin University. Prior to his time with the Lumberjacks, Nunez served as a graduate assistant at LSU from 2022 to 2024, contributing to player development, video editing, recruiting, and scouting, and helping the Tigers reach the 2024 NIT postseason.

A former student-athlete, Nunez played four seasons (2016–2020) at Division II Barry University (FL), where he was part of the Buccaneers’ run to the Elite Eight in 2017–18. He earned his master’s degree in Sports Administration from LSU in 2024
